Current Events

Sue Maxted continues to organize and file records. A new database has been created which contains available information about the members of the Pine Bluffs UMC. Sue is currently entering data about the members from 1950-1960. Here is a little information from that time:

70 years ago in 1956, 29 new members joined the Pine Bluffs United Methodist Church. (10) members were received by Profession of Faith, (7) members by Certificate of Transfer and (12) members by Preparatory Membership. Robert Markham was the Pastor at this time.

60 years ago in 1966, Pine Bluffs United Methodist Church welcomed (29) new members including our very own Karen Waterman! Karen McDowall, member #870, was received on April 17, 1966 by Profession of Faith. A.L. Kongable was the Pastor.
